[edit] What We Do

As one of Stern's largest clubs, we seek to offer our members great value by striving to:

  • Empower: students to pursue entrepreneurial activities
  • Educate: students and alumni about relevant and differentiating issues
  • Engage: students, alumni, and professionals in social, educational, and professional settings

[edit] Officers

The following future billionaires run the club when they're not contemplating their next business idea:

  • Bill Kenworthy - President - Bill oversees the full operations and finances of the club. In concert with his fellow officers, he also interacts with the other student organizations, administration, alumni, and the professional community within NYC.
  • Greg Lee - Incubator Advisor
  • Bo Liang - EVP, Alumni Affairs - Bo interacts with the NYU community at-large, looking to engage other schools in the pursuit of entrepreneurial activities. He is also a leading champion of the NYU Entrepreneurs' Forum, which seeks to integrate entrepreneuship throughout NYU.
  • Jared McGriff - EVP, Alumni Affairs- Jared leads the alumni efforts of our club, with a particular focus on providing programming that has special appeal to both our club and Stern alumni. He also serves as the primary contact for the Alumni Affairs office.
  • Michael Pesce - EVP, Corporate Relations - Michael establishes partnerships with the NYC professional community in order to generate learning events, job opportunities, and sponsorships. His focus includes not only the traditional entrpreneurial tracks such as PE and VC, but also intrapreneurship opportunities within larger, more formal organizations.
  • Roberto Kriete - EVP, Business Development - Roberto serves as a liaison to many of the key internal organizations with whom the EEX interacts, not the least of which are the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and the Stern Incubator.
  • David Pluto - EVP, VCIC- David coordinates the flagship events delivered by the club, with special emphasis on the Venture Capital Investment Competition in which Stern both competes and hosts. He also injects an EEX-perspective by working along with other Stern clubs who host annual conferences.
  • Luisa Fernandes - EVP, Part-time Students - Luisa champions the club to her fellow Langone students and, conversely, ensures the EEX provides valuable programming to that constituency. In particular, she provides a necessary focus around learning events and career opportunities.
  • Pablo Halkyard - EVP, Social Entrepreneurship - Pablo, who is also an officer in the Social Enterprise Association, contributes a socially responsible perspective to the club primarily by delivering forward-thinking and often reknowned speakers to the Stern community.
